An exhibition titled “Bitaraplyk – baky bagtyň binýady”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, has opened at the History and Local Lore Museum of Dashoguz velayat. The exhibition features oil and graphic-style paintings by local artists, as well as sculptures and jewelry.

All the works, created in national motifs, are filled with love for the Motherland and reflect the unique culture and history of the Turkmen people. Some pieces are being displayed for the first time, such as the works of Ch. Kabeyeva, a recent graduate of the jewelry department of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. The women’s jewelry skillfully made by her captivate viewers with its beauty and elegance, and with the masterful use of the fine techniques of the ancient craft of Turkmen zergers.

The beauty of the native land, images of historical figures, and national spiritual and cultural values are highlighted in the works of local painters G. Babaev, R. Abdullaev, K. Toraev, E. Kabulov, the graphic artist O. Shyhyyeva, and others.

As always, member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan Baygeldi Annamedov has succeeded in creating the effect of real movement in his sculptures and fully conveying the emotional atmosphere of the moment.

The themes of the works vividly reflect the creative life of the Turkmen people and their unwavering aspiration for peace, friendship, good-neighborliness, and cooperation.
