When hearts sound together: an inclusive concert held in Mary

A warm and inspiring inclusive concert titled “Ýürekden – From the Heart” was held in the city of Mary, becoming a vivid symbol of unity and support. The event brought together on one stage—and in the audience—children, young people, persons with disabilities, pensioners, and volunteers, proving that talent and courage know no boundaries.

The concert was organized by the economic society “Däp-Dessur” in partnership with the Mary branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and the Children’s Fund of Turkmenistan under the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization.

The main purpose of the event was to create an inclusive space and support the talents of people with the most diverse abilities.

The program was rich and varied. It included children’s and national musical performances, presentations by students and teachers of the Health-Educational-Upbringing Complex of the city of Mary, as well as a vibrant dance piece by the Active Pensioners’ Club of the “Däp-Dessur” Economic Society.

The cultural program was enriched by a theatrical performance from members of the Physical Culture and Sports Club for Persons with Disabilities of the city of Bayramaly, as well as musical pieces performed by Red Crescent volunteers, including an English-language song, an instrumental duet, and the inspiring composition “The Beautiful Far Away.”

For many participants, stepping onto the stage became a moment of recognition and inspiration. A representative of the Physical Culture and Sports Club for Persons with Disabilities of Bayramaly, sharing her feelings, emphasized: “When we perform on stage, we feel that we are heard and seen; it gives us strength and inspiration to move forward.”

Art played a special role in the festive atmosphere. An exhibition of items created by the concert participants was organized in the foyer. These creative works showcased their craftsmanship and individuality. In addition, every guest could leave a symbolic mark on a large decorative panel designed by the participants. This collective artwork became a powerful sign of unity and support.

The culmination of the concert was the collective performance of the patriotic song “Arkadagly Serdarym”, followed by a commemorative photo session. The “Ýürekden – From the Heart” concert became yet another successful step in promoting the values of kindness, simple human participation, and unity.
