One of the country’s major enterprises—the Turkmenabat Cotton-Spinning Factory—is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Motherland’s permanent neutrality with worthy labor achievements.
This modern enterprise, commissioned in October 2009, has been achieving excellent results year after year thanks to its well-organized approach to work, consistently exceeding its planned targets. Alongside the combined efforts of the workforce, the key to its success lies in the introduction of modern equipment. This includes 20 carding machines from the German company “Trützschler”, 24 spinning machines and 11 winding machines from the Italian firms “Marzoli” and “Savia”, as well as advanced technology from Switzerland and Turkiye.
The necessary raw material is supplied by the region’s cotton-ginning plants. The factory employs more than 590 workers and specialists.
It should be noted that the factory successfully implements a mentorship system that helps young specialists quickly master work with complex technologies. This, in turn, enables the enterprise to maintain a high level of productivity.
In addition, production management using digital technologies ensures high quality of the output and uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
During production, cleaned cotton passes consecutively through several stages—specifically through ginning machines, measuring equipment, and carding machines—where the processed material is combined into a homogeneous fiber. It then proceeds to the spinning and winding workshops, where the fiber is transformed into bundles of finished products weighing more than 2.5 kilograms. Finally, it enters the packaging section, where the product is brought to marketable condition.
The factory produces yarn in sizes 20, 27, and 34, based on customer needs.
The enterprise’s laboratory, equipped with cutting-edge technology, determines the quality of raw materials and finished products, helping maintain strong demand for them.
Thanks to the diligent work of its workers and specialists, the enterprise produced 3,912 tons of high-quality cotton yarn in the 11 months of the current year.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the International Year of Peace and Trust, the plan for commercial output has been fulfilled at 112.6 percent.
The sale of finished products is also organized in accordance with requirements. Over the 11 months of this year, 3,694 tons of cotton yarn were shipped to the domestic market and foreign consumers.
The excellent results achieved by the Turkmenabat Cotton-Spinning Factory are a worthy contribution to the development of the textile industry, one of the leading sectors of the country’s economy.
