In the capital's sports complex "Galkynysh" were finished the tournament in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling for the President's Cup participated by teams from all velayats and the capital.

In these competitions which were organized by the National Center Wrestling of Turkmenistan each team can be put in the weight categories only one athlete according to the rules. And each team consists of seven wrestlers selected at the regional and city events.

Reminding the winners of last year's tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling of the Cup of the President of Turkmenistan were the athletes from Mary velayat. At the end of the current competition the team from capital won a major trophy tournament.

Team from Ashgabat also won in freestyle fighting and left behind a won last year winning the Cup.
