Turkmen freestyle wrestlers won five medals of various distinctions at the international RWL-VI Riada Wrestling Liga junior tournament (U 20), held in Grozny.

The best result for the national team was achieved by Suleiman Musagulyev. Competing in the super heavyweight category up to 125 kg, the Turkmen athlete defeated his rivals and climbed to the top step of the podium, winning the gold medal.

Azatberdi Asyrgulyev earned a silver medal in the 65 kg weight category. Bronze medals were claimed by Azimberdi Asyrgulyev (up to 57 kg), Dagan Guvanchmyradov (up to 61 kg), and Batyr Begenjov (up to 74 kg).
