“Mitaş Industry” aims to expand its presence in Turkmenistan’s energy market

The 12th Specialized Exhibition of Export Goods of the Republic of Türkiye has begun its work in the capital of Turkmenistan. The event once again confirmed its status as one of the most significant platforms for strengthening bilateral economic dialogue and expanding trade and investment ties between the two brotherly states.

The exhibition brought together leading manufacturers, investors, and experts, serving as an effective tool for showcasing industrial potential and attracting foreign investment into Turkmenistan’s national economy.

Particular attention at the forum is drawn to the offerings of Mitaş Industry, a company specializing in solutions for the energy and telecommunications sectors. In an interview with a correspondent of “GA”, the company’s manager, Irana Yunusova-Karabacak, emphasized the global scale of the holding’s operations, noting that Mitaş Industry’s products are exported to 145 countries worldwide, while its production facilities are located not only in Türkiye but also in European Union countries such as France and Italy.

“Turkmenistan is a home country for us. We highly appreciate the country’s dynamic socio-economic development and are ready to expand our presence in the vast Turkmen energy market, making our meaningful contribution to this process,” noted the company representative.

The manager also spoke about the key areas of the company’s activities. These include the design and production of structures for electric power transmission and distribution, development of renewable energy infrastructure, construction of telecommunications towers and lightning protection systems, as well as the production of masts and structures for the transport sector.

“Despite the fact that the company is currently engaged in direct exports of in-demand products to this region, Mitaş Industry’s management has expressed its intention to open a representative office in Turkmenistan. Such a step would allow the company to cooperate more closely and offer long-term, sustainable solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects being implemented in the brotherly country,” added the businesswoman.

This year, around 100 companies and business associations from the Republic of Türkiye are showcasing their export potential in Ashgabat. The exhibition venue presents virtually all key sectors, ranging from light and food industries to high-tech manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and the construction sector.
