The grand opening of the International tourism exhibition and conference «Turkmentravel – 2026» took place in the building of the Chamber of commerce and industry in the capital of Turkmenistan. The large-scale review brought together leading domestic and foreign travel companies, as well as the largest international air carriers.
The representative of the Russian S7 airline, Jahan Charyyeva, responding to a question from the «GA» correspondent, highly appreciated the level of cooperation with Turkmen partners.
«Cooperation with Turkmenistan is developing in the most favourable way. Daily direct flights between Ashgabat and Moscow demonstrate occupancy, which confirms their relevance among citizens of both countries. We ensure the stability of the schedule without disruptions and delays by offering passengers a flexible fare system, including benefits for children and the possibility of carrying additional baggage. There are also no disruptions in the main international air harbour of Turkmenistan, and there are no delays in flights. All flights depart on time, and passengers are always satisfied», − said J.Charyyeva.
Speaking about the role and effectiveness of «Turkmentravel – 2026», the specialist expressed the opinion that the goals and objectives set by the organisers have been achieved.
«All conditions have been created here for the direct exchange of experience and the strengthening of partnerships. The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with innovative projects, practical developments and advanced technological solutions that today determine the vector of development of the global travel industry, and our company is ready to contribute to the deep integration of Turkmenistan into this ecosystem», − concluded the representative of the Russian airline.
The business program «Turkmentravel – 2026» promises to be intense and will last until the 16th of April. Working meetings and seminars, presentations of new tourist destinations, discussion of prospects and study tours are planned within the framework of the forum. The event is designed to demonstrate the hospitality of Turkmenistan and become a launching pad for the introduction of new standards of service in the field of modern tourism, including digital technologies.
