Faculty from the Institute of telecommunications and informatics of Turkmenistan are undergoing an internship at the Technical university of Cluj-Napoca, one of the leading higher education institutions of Romania in the field of technical and engineering education.

The study visit to the university will feature a comprehensive program, including general lectures, seminars, discussions, and practical and experimental sessions focused on artificial intelligence, innovative educational technologies, and key areas of sustainable development.

During the classes, participants become familiar with advanced teaching methods, innovative approaches to curriculum development, and contemporary global trends in the information sector. In this context, faculty from the two partner universities jointly discussed the relationship between theoretical knowledge and the practical skills needed to train specialists in the fields of innovative science, «smart» technologies, and sustainable development.

During the bilateral meeting, the scientific and educational capabilities of universities were examined in detail. The Romanian colleagues were introduced to the book by the President of Turkmenistan, «The Neutrality of Turkmenistan – a bright path to peace and trust».

Next, the Turkmen teachers visited the scientific laboratories of the university, equipped with modern equipment.

The visit will continue with bilateral meetings to discuss plans for new educational events in the future aimed at expanding the scientific and educational opportunities for students and faculty.

Internships in Romania offer an effective platform for the professional development of teachers, the exchange of experience in the development and implementation of educational programs, the study of the latest teaching methods, and the strengthening of ties between universities for future collaboration in education and research.

Educational events for teachers and students of the Turkmen university are held regularly at the Romanian university as part of the cooperation Agreement between the Institute of telecommunications and informatics of Turkmenistan and the Technical university of Cluj-Napoca, signed in 2019.
