The French Institute in Turkmenistan Invites Everyone to a New Chess Club

The French Institute in Turkmenistan has announced the opening of a new chess season. As part of a joint project with the Chess Federation of Turkmenistan, a chess club is being launched at the Institute with the aim of promoting this intellectual sport.

The club’s first meeting will take place on May 9. Sessions will be held regularly on Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. at the Institute’s premises. Participation is free of charge.

The project is aimed at a wide audience and is intended to create a platform for exchanging experience among players of various skill levels. The club’s main areas of activity include:

Practical sessions: friendly matches and analysis of game strategies.

Training: beginners will receive assistance from qualified mentors who will help them master the basic rules and techniques of the game.

Inclusivity: the project is designed to involve people of all backgrounds, regardless of their level of preparation.

Knowledge of the French language is welcomed but is not a mandatory requirement for joining the club. Everyone interested is invited to participate.
