In the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, thanks to initiatives of Hero-Arkadag and indefatigable efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a great deal of work is carried out to realize priority goals - strategic partnership for universal peace, security and progress, augmentation of economic potential of the country, further growth of well-being of Turkmen people and increase of the international authority of our fatherland.
On June 29, the head of the state held an online working meeting to consider the state of affairs in the agrarian sector and regions of the country.
On behalf of workers of the agro-industrial sector and inhabitants of the velayat, they wished sound health, long life and the further successes in his state activity to Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag on the occasion of his birthday. They also congratulated the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people with the next anniversary of Arkadag city.
The issues considered there included completion of wheat harvesting campaigns in optimum short terms, conduction of timely settlement of accounts with manufacturers of wheat for the crop, observance of agro-technical standards and proper care of cotton and other crops as well as further strengthening the food safety in the country.
The President of Turkmenistan congratulated grain-growers of Akhal and Balkan velayats with successful fulfilment of their production plans and wished them new labour victories.
The head of the state also underlined the significance of the successful solution of the goals put in programs of social and economic development of the country and instructed to keep control over the work in this sphere.
Besides it, in the past week, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution «On production of wheat in Turkmenistan in 2027».
On June 29, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a number of meetings with heads of leading Asian corporations - Jeong Won-ju, Chairman of the Board of Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., Eiji Hosoi, President, CEO and representative director of the Japanese company Toyo Engineering Corporation and Kenji Sanada, Vice President of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.
At meetings, an emphasis was made on issues of expansion of effective multiplane partnership, realisation of large infrastructural projects. Visitors expressed congratulations to the National Leader of the Turkmen people on the occasion of his birthday and anniversary of the first "smart" city of Arkadag in the region.
Prospects of the further development of regional interaction and implementation of large-scale infrastructural projects were discussed during meetings of the President of Turkmenistan with the Chairman of the Board of Management of the Çalik Holding group of companies, Ahmet Çalık as well as Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company Rönesans Holding Erman Ilicak.
On his birthday, on June 29, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received numerous congratulations and best regards from heads of the states, heads of parliaments, notable state, and political figures, heads of international organisations and inter-parliamentary structures, representatives of clergy and public organisations.
In their messages and during their telephone conversations, they outlined especially an outstanding contribution of Hero-Arkadag to development of the Turkmen state, the strengthening of the authority of the country in the world and its invariable adherence to principles of good neighbourhood, mutual understanding and mutually beneficial cooperation.
The festive events held on the occasion of the third anniversary of Arkadag city, which was created at the initiative of National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov became an important event in the political, social and cultural life of our country and served as a bright symbol of successful development of our fatherland and its economic power.
In the khyakimlik of the city, which possesses a special legal status of the city of the state significance, a solemn forum «Arkadag şäheri - röwşen geljegi ň aýdyň ýoly» was held.
As was marked in speeches of participants, from the first day of foundation of the "smart" city, Hero-Arkadag has held the course of its construction under constant control. Within the regular working trip to the new city, the National Leader of the Turkmen people in details is acquainted with the work conducted at building sites. A valuable advice of Hero-Arkadag concerning features of functioning and design of objects, serves their reliability and safety as a management for designers, architects, builders.
In the cultural-entertaining centre "Märkaw", festive sadaka was given on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of Arkadag city and unanimous support of the proposal to name the new mosque erected in the city at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people intended for 30 thousand persons «Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi».
The festive atmosphere of the events held in Arkadag city was inspired with performances of local workers of culture and art.
Results of the work of military and law enforcement bodies for six months of the current year were summed up at the meeting of the State Security Council, which President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held on July 1. It agenda included issues of security and peace in our independent state, the strengthening of the material and technical basis of power structures and further perfection of their activity.
On July 1, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Yermek Kosherbayev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who arrived in our country on an official visit.
Having pointed out the importance of forthcoming consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the state expressed confidence that results of the present visit will serve the further strengthening of friendly relations between two countries.
The significance of the activity of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakhstan commission on economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation was especially underlined. In their general opinion, the work of the Commission, the next meeting of which has taken place recently in Astana city, promotes disclosing of potential of bilateral partnership, the further increase in volumes of mutual trade, investments and joint projects.
The cultural-humanitarian sphere where a special place is attached to cooperation in the area of education, public health services, science, culture and sports also acts as an important vector of interstate relations.
A number of issues of state life were considered at the regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on July 3.
Its agenda included the strengthening of the legal framework of Turkmenistan, modernisation of economy and budgetary-tax system, optimisation of production of the fuel and energy branch, the further complex development of the agricultural branch, diversification of the national chemical industry at the expense of rational and effective use of local source of raw materials.
At the same time, they informed on preparation for the forthcoming meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik business council, which will be held in Dushanbe with participation of representatives of ministries and branch departments, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of our country.
They also informed on formation of digital database of historical monuments of our fatherland and perfection of recreational services.
Besides it, for consideration of the head of the state the proposal on conduction of the competition of innovative projects «Digital solution - 2026» on such nominations as "Artificial intelligence", «Robotics and automation», «Digital medicine», «Education and electronic education», «Smart City», «Smart agricultural technologies» and «System of services» among the youth was submitted.
Projects, which will be presented at the competition, are planned to use in the course of introduction of digital economy, and in production cycles of various branches.
Having approved the proposal, which was sounded during the meeting of the Government, the head of Turkmenistan instructed corresponding heads to take necessary measures for realisation of the target plans.
On July 3, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag made a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. At Mehrabad International Airport, the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Reza Aref and other officials, warmly welcomed Hero-Arkadag.
At the Servestan Palace of the Saadabad Complex, where talks were held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people and President Masoud Pezeshkian, the parties noted a high level of the interstate dialogue based on principles of good neighbourhood and mutual respect and confirmed readiness to make joint efforts for the further development of friendly and brotherly relations between two states on a wide spectrum of areas.
At the meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag with Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of IRI Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf the necessity to strengthen contacts between members of parliaments, activization of work of inter-parliamentary groups of friendship and regular exchange of corresponding experience was underlined.
At the request of the Iranian party, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag answered questions from Seyyed Mohsen Hosseini, a journalist of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Corporation (IRIB) on the foreign policy realised by Turkmenistan, which is based on principles of positive neutrality, good neighbourhood and wide international cooperation.
Within his visit, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag visited the Mosalla Imam Khomeini Mosque, where he participated in the farewell ceremony held there for the late Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Paying a tribute of the memory to the Leader of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and members of his family, Hero-Arkadag read "ayat-tovir", praying the Almighty for the rest of souls of the deceased.
On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and on his own behalf and on behalf of all Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag expressed to President of IRI Masoud Pezeshkian and other high-ranking officials sincere condolences and words of support on this mournful day and made a note in the special book of condolences.
Among other events of the past week – reception of credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kenya to Turkmenistan, John Maina Mwangi in the Mejlis on the instructions of the head of the state.
The diplomat was acquainted with the peaceful foreign policy of Turkmenistan and the structure of the Mejlis and its legislative activity. As was marked, Turkmenistan is interested in expansion of interaction with the countries of the African continent.
The briefing dedicated to the preparations for a unique event-World Horse Racing Championship and Akhal-Teke Horse Beauty Contest, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event is scheduled to take place in September of the current year in Kronenberg, the Netherlands.
Its participants - heads of diplomatic missions, international organisations, and journalists were informed on measures taken by profile ministries and departments of the country to develop horse breeding for successful performance of our Akhal-teke horses in the international sports arenas.
Besides it, the planned actions aimed at further popularisation of cultural values, traditions and customs of Turkmen in the world, illumination of achievements of our country in economic and social spheres and explaining of the deep sense of the motto of the current year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged horses», marked by the glorious 35th anniversary of sacred independence of our fatherland were sounded.
The same theme was in more details discussed during the solemn forum held in the Mukam Palace of the state culture centre of Turkmenistan. Speakers gave special attention to issues of augmentation and popularisation of glory of famous Akhal-Teke horses in the world and the national art of horse breeding.
In the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, in Turkmenistan under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov program measures are implemented to develop water management, involve fully the industrial potential of industrial enterprises, and create new workplaces in regions.
So, in the past week, water uplifting stations in Gökdepe etrap of Akhal velayat and a hydraulic engineering construction with a capacity of 181 cubic metres of water per second, constructed along the Garagum-river channel in Ashgabat were commissioned into operation. All processes of modern profile objects are operated in the automatic mode on the basis of advanced digital technologies. One of the stations in Gökdepe etrap was equipped by solar panels.
At the cotton spinning factory of Dashoguz city, the opening of a new industrial complex for release of the materials used in manufacturing of furniture and construction was held. As raw materials for high-quality and non-polluting production, wastes of cotton, wool, cane and cotton stalks are used.
The capacity of the complex where 60 new workplaces were created, is designed for manufacture of 7 thousand 200 tons of production a year.
As a whole, events of the past week brightly reflected success and foresight of the political policy realised under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov aimed at all-round progressive development of our fatherland, planned growth of standards of living of people and consecutive promotion of fruitful cooperation, which is based on principles of peaceful disposition, openness and mutual benefit.
