Farmers of the “Aksaray” Daikhan Association Among Dashoguz Velayat’s Leading Winter Wheat Producers

The “Aksaray” Daikhan Association of the Gorogly etrap has earned a distinguished place among the farms that made a significant contribution to the successful grain harvest in the Dashoguz velayat. It is recognized as one of the region’s leading producers of winter wheat. This year, the association cultivated and harvested a rich wheat crop from 1,110 hectares of farmland.

It is worth recalling that the grain harvesting campaign in the Dashoguz velayat officially began earlier this summer in the fields of this very farm. Living up to the trust placed in them, the farmers of the the farmers of the daikhan association were once again among the first to successfully complete the harvesting campaign. Having gathered the entire crop without losses, they exceeded their annual production target by nearly one and a half times. Outstanding results were achieved by tenant farmers such as Maksat Garryyev, who delivered 103 tonnes of high-quality grain to the state, and Dilaram Matmuradova, who harvested 86 tonnes of wheat. Many local farmers also surpassed their planned per-hectare yield targets.

This success was made possible by the comprehensive support provided by the state for productive agricultural work, the timely implementation of all necessary agronomic measures, the efficient use of modern high-performance agricultural machinery, the combination of advanced scientific cultivation practices with accumulated farming experience, and the selection of high-yield wheat varieties best suited to local growing conditions.

The farmers of the “Aksaray” Daikhan Association are determined to uphold their longstanding agricultural traditions and continue achieving new production successes. Thanks to the conditions created by the state for the harvesting, proper storage, and processing of wheat, the velayat now operates a complete production cycle—from seed preparation to the processing of wheat into finished products. There are three high-capacity flour mills and seven grain elevators, most of which can simultaneously receive, clean, and store up to 50,000 tons of grain while also preparing high-quality seed material for local wheat producers for future harvests. There is also a well-developed network of enterprises producing a wide range of bakery products.
