The Turkmen students won in international intellectual competitions. This time competitions were held in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The island of Kish of the neighboring country for Turkmenistan was the site of the 13th International Mathematics Olympiad and 5th of the International Chemistry Olympiad which was initiated by the Ministry of Education and the National Organization of IRI testing education.

Together with the fans of mathematics and chemistry which was participated by seventeen teams from Iran, Sri Lanka, Oman, Ukraine, Tajikistan. In these competitive marathons group of Turkmen students participated in the eight-man of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli and the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seydi.

As a result of hard intellectual struggle against worthy opponents Turkmen students were rightfully awarded an honorary place in the top three winners of the core. His success of the team young followers and admirers of the periodic "queen of sciences" are required for students, Faculty of Mathematics State University Makhtumkuli - Pirmurad Kurbanov and Yusupbay Ermetov as well as a student of chemical-biological faculty Amanmyrat Abdullaev who were awarded bronze medals.
