On 27 September 2026, events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence were held in the Republic of Türkiye and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.

In Ankara, the building of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, one of the tallest buildings in the capital with a height of 140 metres, was illuminated in the colours of the State Flag of Turkmenistan. The festive lighting displayed Turkmen national göls, the crescent moon and five stars on the building's façade, symbolising the friendship and brotherhood between the two countries.

In Pakistan, from 25 to 27 September 2026, at the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, a video dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence was displayed on the large outdoor screen of The Centaurus Mall and the Mövenpick Hotel located within the complex.

The video presentation, highlighting Turkmenistan's achievements during the years of independence, its socio-economic development, and Turkmen-Pakistani cooperation, introduced residents and visitors of Islamabad to modern Turkmenistan and reaffirmed the high level of friendly relations between the two states.
