An opening ceremony for the new building complex of the «Archman» Sanatorium took place today, attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Caring for the health of the people is a priority of the socially oriented state policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag and currently being successfully implemented under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Protecting and strengthening public health and fostering principles of a healthy lifestyle in society have been identified as important tasks of the modern epoch.

In this regard, new medical, health-resort, and tourism facilities are being built and commissioned in the capital and the regions of our country. The facilities and services of modern sanatoriums fully comply with international standards.

The «Archman» Sanatorium is one of the major medical treatment centres of the country. The services provided at the sanatorium and its healing water have a positive effect on visitors. In this way, the number of people coming here for leisure and health improvement is steadily growing. This serves as evidence that the services provided to the public at the sanatorium fully comply with international standards and modern healthcare system requirements.

As is well known, large-scale works at the «Archman» Sanatorium were initiated thanks to the efforts of the Hero-Arkadag. In 2009, a new building with a capacity of 400 was constructed here. Drinking water was piped to the sanatorium from a source located 7 kilometres away, and extensive landscaping and improvement works were also carried out. In addition, a health trail has been laid out on the sanatorium grounds. This allows for combining treatment with the sanatorium's healing waters with various types of sports activities.
