In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, a new vegetable oil production plant will be built in the Garashsyzlyk etrap of the Dashoguz velayat.

According to the document, the State food industry association is authorised to enter into a contract for the design and construction of a vegetable oil production facility with a processing capacity of 60 thousand tons of industrial cottonseed per year, along with the development of the surrounding area.

The project is aimed at ensuring food security for the country and increasing the efficiency of processing agricultural raw materials.

The future enterprise will become an important link in the chain of modernisation of processing industry of the region. The production facilities will enable the production of high-quality vegetable oil that meets international standards, using local raw materials and modern technologies.

The construction of the facility will be carried out under the supervision of relevant government agencies. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of energy-efficient solutions, environmental safety and the creation of new jobs for residents of the velayat.

The project is being implemented as part of a state program aimed at strengthening the economic potential of northern region of the country. The creation of a new production facility in the Dashoguz velayat is the next step in the implementation of the strategic initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan aimed at the comprehensive development of agriculture and industry, improving the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the Motherland.
