Today, friendly football match of the youth staff of “Al Shaab” team from Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) and national team of Turkmenistan was held on the basis of the capital’s “Ashgabat” sport complex. This match became a final part of the official sports program of the training practice of the Arab team in our country.
The first match “Al Shaab” with our junior team clearly demonstrated that the guests have much to learn from the Turkmen football players. After this game J. Muratoglu was not upset about final score, having said that the match with Turkmen residents, which had an unbeaten record of the Arab team, revealed weakest sides of his athletes. So, there is much to work at in the trainings. Afterwards, the tutor of guests paid great attention to the trainings with players of defensive position.
Concerning the youth staff of the Arab team, it has shown its worth: two of four matches held with the Turkmen national team have completed in favor of the Arab football players, one ended in a draw and one in favor of Turkmen residents. Such sign for J. Muratoglu is the best confirmation of resolute spirit of the youth staff of the Arab team prior to the national championship, because “Al Shaab” gained unofficial final advantage not with club team, but with national team.
Moreover, the coach of the Arab team exchanged experience with main trainer of the junior and youth national team of Turkmenistan, honored coach of Turkmenistan Rovshan Muhadov. They have much to share with each other. In due time, honored couch of Turkey was the head of such well-known Turkish football clubs as “Beshiktash”, “Fenerbahche” and others. He also worked with the national team of the United Arab Emirates, which under his guidance, won silver medals of the Asian Football Championship in 1996.
R. Muhadov is also rather famous coach in our country, who trained more than one generation of young talented football players. For example, in the last year, his athletes from “Diyar” team of the specialized sport school of the Olympic Reserve of the State Committee for sports won main trophy of the national tournament for Cup “Garashsyzlyk”. In autumn of the same year, R. Muhadov was awarded with special diploma from the International Football Federation (FIFA) and Asian Football Confederation, confirming the professional coach’s category “PRO”. This category gives a right for trainer’s activity with the national teams and clubs of any world country.
Coach from Turkey emphasized the Turkmen hospitality and great attention, being paid by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the development of sports and mass sport movement. Majestic sport structures together with natural climate ideally do for holding here effective training practice in any season of the year.
