The second racing day of the autumn season was held in all equestrian complexes of Turkmenistan. According to the number of participants, the contests at the Ashgabat equestrian complex, where over 100 racers competed for prizes in 13 races, were remarkable.

Young jockeys on two-year-old horses opened the races for 500-meter distance. They got an opportunity to demonstrate their skills in three races.

Seven fastest elite Akhalteke racers of four years old and older took part in the contests for 2400-meter distance. The competition between them for “Elite” prize was so sharp that it was possible to determine the winner only by means of photo finish. According to the freeze-frame presented for numerous viewers on a large monitor of the hippodrome, the judicial assembly fixed the winner - black stallion Shahymerdan (2 min. 52.3 seconds), which took the lead over Yeldes finished the second by 0.2 seconds.

Second day of the autumn season of the races gave an opportunity to the fans and devotees of the equestrian sports to estimate worthily the work of our famous and young horse breeders, who trained well their graceful creatures for current contests. The interest of people of various ages and professions in such contests increases constantly.
