The third racing day of the autumn season was held in equestrian complexes of Turkmenistan. Numerous devotees of equestrian sport - grey-bearded elders and young teenagers, our compatriots and foreign guests have gathered there. Song and musical performances were expanded on specially assigned grounds before hippodromes. It was organized the contests on Turkmen national games as well as exhibition of pictures devoted to graceful Akhalteke horses.

Today, in the capital’s hippodrome, 108 Akhalteke horses took part in 12 races. Sharp fight started among Akhalteke horses of four years old and older in the contest for 2200-meter distance, where having run neck and neck, the racers Gatyakar and Mertebeli finished almost at the same time. It was possible to determine the winner only by means of photo finish. It fixed the winner - Gatyakar (2 min. 40.17 seconds), which took the lead over its rival by 0.04 seconds.

Black stallion Garader (2 min. 55.32 seconds) demonstrated best results in 2400-meter distance and grey bay horse Gokdepe (3 min. 24.10 seconds) - in 2800-meter distance.

All winners were awarded with valuable prizes.
