International football tournament for Cup of the President of Turkmenistan will start in Ashgabat tomorrow.
Nine junior national teams in two groups “A” – Turkmenistan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Armenia, “B” – Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus will compete for prestigious trophy. Matches in the first group will take place in “Ashgabat” stadium, in the second – in “Kopetdag” stadium.
Two best teams from each group will reach semifinal, which winners will compete in the final for main prize and unsuccessful team will compete for bronze awards of tournament. Prize fund of tournament will be 35 thousand US dollars. Its winner will receive 20 thousand US dollars with the Cup of the President. Silver prizewinner – 10 thousand US dollars, and bronze – 5 thousand US dollars.
