Turkmen tennis players Ernepesov A. and G. Pochai have reached the final of the International tennis junior tournament «Ashgabat Cup», being held in Ashgabat and devoted to the 21st anniversary of Motherland’s independence. The leaders of our team gained this success in pair competitions, having beaten today in semifinal the Turkish duet under number one in composition Chelikbilek A. and Hizlialpa Ch.
In the final, duet from Kazakhstan Ayap S./Nestorov A. will oppose two best players in men’s Turkmen tennis. Today, in the semifinal, they gained the upper hand over other Kazakh pair Akzharkenov K./Popko D. - 6:4, 6:1.
Today, it was also determined the semifinalists in single class. Two Turkmen tennis players are among them as well. Ernepesov A. will appear on the tennis court against Chelikbilek A. (Turkey) under number one and Mamedkuliyev I. – against Ayap S. (Kazakhstan) under number two.
