“World experience in organization of international sport events” is the title of the international three-day seminar started today in Ashgabat. It was organized by the State Institute of Sports and Tourism in Turkmenistan jointly with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The representatives of various ministries as well as State Committee for sports, Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, higher educational establishments of the country, mass media took part in the work of seminar. The representatives of the sport industry from different countries were invited to the forum as international experts. Their reports were devoted to the issues of management and holding of sport contests, service and hotel service, organization of awarding ceremonies, revenue and others.

Seminar will continue its work tomorrow.
