VII International Book Fair “Book – path of cooperation and progress” completed its work in Ashgabat. Within three days, it became the center of attraction of the representatives of leading publishing houses and printing enterprises, largest scientific-educational centers, printing equipment producing companies from 26 countries.

Forum hosted 150 participants in Ashgabat, including famous prose writers and poets, masters of translation, scientists, and artists-illustrators, specialists of library science and restorers, journalists.

Selections of fiction, children’s, educational and core literatures, richly illustrated books on art and history, separate volumes and serial publications of the classics of world literature, encyclopedias, photo albums and calendars, gift book and souvenir products placed on numerous stands of the state structures and private companies were presented for attention of visitors.

It was held scientific conference devoted to the issues of interstate book exchange, introduction of innovations into production of printing products, development of literary ties and mutual translations as well as training of staff in the field of press.
