Within the framework of the visit to Turkmenistan, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan Mr. E. Ganiev was received at the Government and the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.

The issues related to implementation of the agreements achieved earlier at the high level were discussed during the meeting at the Government of Turkmenistan. The interlocutors underlined the availability of wide opportunities for widening the mutually beneficial relations in the fuel and energy, trading and economic spheres, the transport and communication sector as well as a number of other directions.

The representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed the priority aspects and urgent tasks on enhancing the trading and economic partnership given the huge potential of the both countries in this sphere.
