On the instruction of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, signing of a series of bilateral agreements in the field of cultural and humanitarian partnership between Turkmenistan and Republic of Uzbekistan was held in the government of Turkmenistan.

Among signed documents – the Agreement between Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and Committee for coordination of development of science and technologies at the Cabinet of Ministers of Republic of Uzbekistan on organization of joint contest of initiative research projects as well as Agreement on cooperation between Artists Union of Turkmenistan and Academy of Arts of Republic of Uzbekistan.
