The main prize of the International Football Tournament for the Cup of the President of Turkmenistan stays in the country: Turkmen footballers who defeated 4-0 their rivals from Ukraine in the final won the honorary trophy of the prestigious competitions that brought together the national teams of nine countries.

The official ceremony of closing the tournament took place after the final match. Medals and valuable presents were awarded to the winners during the ceremony. The national team of the Russian Federation that defeated 3-0 Tajik football players won the third place. The silver medal was awarded to Ukrainian sportsmen, and under the storm of applause the Cup was awarded to our compatriots.

The valuable presents were awarded to sportsmen who demonstrated outstanding results during the tournament. Thus, the tournament organisers announced Roman Pazenko (Ukraine) the best goalkeeper, Mekan Saparov (Turkmenistan) – the best fullback, Daniil Poluboyarinov (Russia) – the best halfback, Kamron Tursunov (Tajikistan) – the best forward, Merdan Muhadov (Turkmenistan) – the best goal-scorer (six goals) and Movlanberdy Goshdjanov (Turkmenistan) – the best football player of the tournament.
