Today, within the framework of stay of the delegation of Federal Republic of Germany at the head of deputy chairperson of the parliamentary group of the German Bundesrat for the Central Asia Mr. Manfred Grund, it was held meetings at the Parliament of Turkmenistan, Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights at the President of Turkmenistan as well as at the Institute of International Relations under Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In the course of negotiations at the national Parliament of the country, it was held substantial discussion on key issues of further development of positive Turkmen-German cooperation attained qualitatively new level within the last years, taking into account earlier reached agreements at the high level as well as being based on experience of productive bilateral dialogue of many years.

During the meetings at the Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights at the President of Turkmenistan and Institute of International Relations under Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, it was expressed the striving for further development of friendly dialogue, taking into account the available experience and multi-aspect potential. Particular role was attached to humanitarian cooperation as an integral factor of intergovernmental interaction.
