The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a number of meetings with the representatives of foreign delegations that arrived in the Turkmen capital to take part in the Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2012 International Exhibition and the International Scientific Conference on the Key Vectors for Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan and the Prospects of International Cooperation.

The existing situation and prospects for development of the Turkmen-British partnership were discussed during a meeting with Mr. Angus Miller, Caspian Energy Advisor, UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

The meeting with the delegation of the State of Qatar led by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al Attiyah focused on the key trends of the foreign-policy course pursued by Turkmenistan as well as the projects and programmes implemented in the country.

During a meeting with a delegation led by European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Mrs. Patricia Flor it was noted that the European vector had been and remained one of the key areas of the foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan.
