Within the framework of the project “Mutually acceptable mechanism of complementary use of water in the Central Asia by use of a scenario approach”, a two-day meeting of experts was opened in the Turkmen capital in the UN Regional Center for preventive diplomacy for the Central Asia.
This meeting became the final event of the project organized by the UN Regional Center for preventive diplomacy for the Central Asia and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in cooperation with the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving Aral Sea.
At the meeting hosted the experts from countries of the Central Asia and Afghanistan as well as representatives of the UN structural subdivisions, it was held the discussion of vital issues of efficient water resources management in the region, practical experience accumulated during realization of the project.
