The presentation of a new tourist map of the Turkmen state took place at the conference hall of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Tourism. The representatives of the state and private tourist companies, students and teachers of the National Institute of Tourism and Sport of Turkmenistan, the Ashgabat specialized secondary school for tourism as well as journalists attended the presentation.

The new map will play an important role in promoting the tourist potential of Turkmenistan abroad. With this aim the map will be distributed not only in Turkmenistan but it will be also presented to international organisatios, partners and embassies of Turkmenistan in foreign countries.

The resort pearl in the Central Asia – the Avaza National tourist zone, the horse routes are designated on the map, and the famous route of the Great Silk Road is mapped with a string of camels’ silhouettes..
