A new secondary school designed for 600 places opened in Abadan. This is the second school opened in Abadan this year in accordance with the social development plan.

The four-storey white-marble building houses language laboratories where children study foreign languages and special classrooms where they study various disciplines, including chemistry, physics, biology and computer science, the library with a big reading hall and spacious rooms for music, choreography, drawing and decorative and applied art classes in the school building. There are the specialized workshops for labour classes.

Physical development of schoolchildren is an important aspect of the educational process. Children can do various sports and physical exercises in the spacious gym with sports equipment, football fields and basketball and volleyball grounds.
