In the capital’s “President” hotel, it was held the consultative meeting organized by the representative office of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country and devoted to the issues of practical implementation of universally recognized international agreements and conventions on human rights, including in the field of children’s rights.

The representatives of various ministries and departments of our country, including Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, Ministry of Labor and Social Security of population, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Culture, Parliament, Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights at the President of Turkmenistan, State Committee for statistics, social organizations, mass media took part in the meeting. As the international experts, the representatives of UNICEF: Mr. Oyunsayhan Dendevnorov, Mrs. Emi Farkas, Mr. Dainius Puras as well as deputy director of the representative office of UNICEF in Turkmenistan Mrs. Alena Syalchonak made a report at the meeting.

Having noted the efficiency of view exchange, the meeting participants expressed striving for further development of constructive dialogue in this important sphere.
