Footballers of the Balkan FC have won a double victory. In addition to two gold medals of the National Championship, the team of the Turkmenneft State Concern won the Turkmenistan Cup gaining a decisive victory over the last-year winner of the honorary trophy and this year’s bronze winner of the country – the team of the International Turkmen-Turkish University in the final.

For the fourth time in its history, Balkan FC has won the second important club trophy of the country.

It was the eighth final in the history of the club for the Balkan team called Nebitchi till 2010, and the fourth for the ITTU FC. Footballers from Balkanabat won the trophy in 2003, 2004 and 2010, whereas ITTU – in 2006 and 2011.
