The solemn ceremony of opening of the International scientific conference “Revival of the Great Silk Road in the epoch of might and happiness: deep roots and modern opportunities” too place at the conference hall in the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
Scientists, leading specialists and researchers from more than 20 countries of the world, including the US, China, Italy, Germany, Japan, France, Turkey, Iran, Korea, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Morocco, the CIS member states and other foreign countries arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in this large forum.
Wide and versatile study of the Great Silk Road phenomenon promotes to enhancing the dialogue of cultures and peoples. This idea predetermined the agenda of the large-scale international scientific forum.
Four sectional sessions held at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the institutes of archeology, history and ethnography affiliated to the Academy focused on such areas as the modern opportunities of revival of the Great Silk Road, the key ways of the Great Silk Road and their study, the Great Silk Road and development of the Turkmens’ material culture, the Great Silk Road and development of the Turkmens’ spiritual culture.
These vectors of priority scientific researches and mutually beneficial prospective cooperation between the scientists all over the world will be discussed on the final day of the conference.
