A regular meeting of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the development of the Convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea has taken place in Ashgabat on December 17-18. The ministers of foreign affairs of the Caspian States participate in the meeting.

Moreover, the representatives of the Caspian states will gather together in the Turkmen capital on December 19-21 to discuss a draft Agreement on preservation and efficient use of the biological resources of the Caspian Sea.
