International Conference on fundamental roots and modern features of the Silk Road and the prospects for its revival in new capacity was completed in Ashgabat. Participants of the forum are scientists in over two dozen states together with the Turkmen colleagues. They included representatives from the U.S., Japan, China, Germany, Italy, France, Turkey, Spain, Korea, Iran, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Morocco, the CIS and other regions of the world.

During the plenary sessions and four breakout scientific forum were presented and discussed dozens of scientific papers. Their work was held in the conference rooms of the Academy of Sciences and its two institutions of the history, archeology and ethnography during two days.
