In the Turkmen capital arrived a delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran led by Deputy Oil Minister, President of the National Iranian Gas Company IRI, Mr. Javad Ovdzhi.

The agenda of the meetings was further building of the Turkmen-Iranian cooperation held in the Government and the State Concern “Turkmengaz”. It has recently acquired a new impetus and content. As noted the dynamics in is applicable for the growing stable bilateral partnership in all areas including in the strategic energy sector which has already implemented a number of important projects for the construction of gas pipelines. Confirming the close ties between the two countries was the commissioning of Dovletabad-Sarahs-Hangeran on which Turkmen “blue fuel” comes to Iran.

The Iranian delegation will have a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during their visit to Ashgabat.
