The Academy of Sciences held a meeting on the establishment of the Foundation of the President of Turkmenistan on the support of young scientists. The fund will aim to develop the priority of basic applied and scientific and engineering research of the young as well as for the acquisition of modern laboratory equipment, computer equipment, for the publication of monographs, books to film science documentaries, supporting scientific expeditions, scientific conferences and symposia, introduction to production of actual developments.
The Foundation will also serve to expand international cooperation and scientific links with similar international funds that support the scientific work of the youth. Management of the Fund rests with the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
The work of the Foundation of the President of Turkmenistan to support young scientists will create new possibilities for rich creative scientific potential of young people and will contribute to the national economy of highly qualified personnel.
Today the development of new areas such as information history, cliometrics, applied mathematics, biology, and other information, the use in research of nano-and information technologies play a major role for young scientists. In this regard stimulates active participation and students in actual research, is organizing the preparation and release of the special non-fiction and educational literature, including in electronic form.
Turkmenistan is making huge investments to support research projects of innovative development of information and communication technologies. This is evidenced by the creation of the National Space Agency which will provide an opportunity to bring a new level of national science. In the future the country plans to launch communications satellite that will modernize the system for mobile communications, the Internet satellite television and other objects of communications. For example, the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan plans in April next year for an international conference of young scientists. Forum will be held on the following themes: young scientists and innovative development, and cooperation of young scholars in the humanities in the cultural dialogue of civilizations, in the exact and natural sciences as the main engine of technological progress will address the role and value of art, language and traditions in shaping the spiritual and philosophical values in young people, as well as the issues related to improving the methods and forms of training young highly qualified scientific personnel in science and technology.
