The delegation of Italy that arrived in the Turkmen capital led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Turkmenistan Antonio Zanardi Landi was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting the sides discussed the prospects of developing the interstate cooperation given the multi-aspect potential and priorities of the socio-economic development of the two friendly states.

Expressing the mutual interest in strengthening traditional trade and economic relations, the meeting participants discussed the progress in implementing the agreements achieved earlier as well as the urgent tasks of cooperation in a number of key areas.

The meetings in a number of other ministries and departments focused on the opportunities of widening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Within the framework of the visit, the Italian guests will be received at the Government of Turkmenistan and a number of sectoral departments.
