Turkmenistan takes part in the Spoga Horse International Trade Fair for Equestrian Sport in Koln, Germany.
According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH), the stand materials and illustrations tell about the unique breed and Turkmenistan’s achievements in the horse breeding sphere and equestrian sport.
Within the framework of the large-scale business programme, the representatives of many specialized foreign companies held a number of meetings with the Turkmen delegation to discuss the issues of close cooperation between the relevant structures.
Potential foreign partners were briefed on the forthcoming festivities and sports events dedicated to the Turkmen Horse Day that is widely celebrated in Turkmenistan at the end of April. It was underlined that the main goal of this bright holiday that glorifies the creative success of scientists, breeders and jockeys is the wide popularization of Ahalteke horses, competitions among the best horses, development of the equestrian sport in the country and involvement of youth. Another important task is to unite the local enterprises of the industry, the scientific and research centres, hippodromes and foreign associations and breed plants under the aegis of the International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association headquartered in Ashgabat.
