Solemn presentation of the books of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov published in the Czech and English languages was held in the conference hall of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly.
Delegation at the head of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Czech Republic in Turkmenistan Mr. Ginek Peikh arrived in our country for realization of this action.
As the State News Agency (TDH) informs, members of the government, officials and representatives of social organizations, several diplomatic missions accredited to Turkmenistan, ministries and departments of the country, Academy of Sciences and higher educational establishments, mass media took part in the solemn presentation. Leading Czech scientists, who participated in translation of the books into the Czech and English languages, were among the guests.
The first two volumes of the fundamental work of the head of Turkmen state “Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan” and illustrated publication “Flight of heavenly racers” in the Czech and English languages were presented for participants of the action.
At the presentation ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Czech Republic in Turkmenistan Mr. Ginek Peikh underlined significant role of new publications in further strengthening and development of relations of friendship and fruitful cooperation between two countries.
In conclusion of the presentation, new editions were given to the Fund of Scientific Library of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly.
On the same day, the delegation of Czech Republic was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, where it was discussed the issues of further strengthening of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
