At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, it was held a meeting with the regional representative of the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Central Asia Mr. Saber Azam, who is on a visit in the Turkmen capital.
The subject of interested discussion became the issues of further expansion of positive cooperation of Turkmenistan – permanent member of the Executive Committee of the Program of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees - with UNHCR. Main topic of discussion became the tasks of practical realization of Ashgabat declaration adopted in the course of International Conference “Refugees in the Muslim World” held in the capital on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan on May 10-11, 2012.
