The preparations for the Week of Health and Happiness have started in Turkmenistan. The national action dedicated to the World Health Day that was held throughout the country last year for the first time will take place on April 1-7.
Among the organizers of the event are the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Sports, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and other departments, Khyakimliks of velayats and Ashgabat as well as public organizations. The competitions in various sports, health-improving events, thematic creative contests and many other actions will be held within the framework of the Week.
An important event of the Week will be the festivities to be organized at the Ashgabat Stadium to sum up sports competitions and award winners of the National Sports Contest “Turkmenistan is the country of high spirit and health”.
