Turkmenistan drew the game versus FC Volyn, a football team in the Ukrainian Premier League in the first test match of the training session in Turkey that will last till February 25.

Within the framework of the preparations for the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup, Turkmen football players will play two more test matches versus foreign teams.
The twenty teams involved in the qualification draw were drawn into five groups of four teams. The winners will qualify for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Australia. The matches in Group E that is composed of Turkmenistan, the Philippines, Cambodia and Brunei will take place in the Philippines on March 22-26.
The five group winners plus the two best second-placed teams as well as Maldives as a host team will qualify for the finals.
It should be noted that the AFC Challenge Cup has been held since 2006. During the last two tournaments in Sri Lanka and Nepal in 2010 and 2012 respectively, Turkmenistan reached the finals but lost to the team of the Korean Democratic People's Republic in both matches.
