The export commodities fair of Turkey has opened in the Turkmen capital.
Over 70 leading Turkish companies – commodity producers and suppliers, including long-term business partners seeking to strengthen their position on the promising Turkmen market as well as newcomers interested in establishing effective cooperation with our country, are showcasing their export potential at the Sergi Kosgi Exhibition Centre.
The Chairperson of the Mejlis, cabinet ministers, heads of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, heads of diplomatic missions and international organisations accredited in Turkmenistan, foreign businessmen and media representatives attended the opening ceremony of the forum. The Turkish delegation consisting of 136 participants led by Deputy Minister of Economy Mustafa Sever has arrived in Ashgabat for the occasion.
Turkish partners are expected to put forward new proposals for fruitful cooperation in manufacturing building materials, equipment, consumer goods, etc. In this regard, the fair will be an opportunity for Turkish companies to provide the necessary information about their productive capacity, know-how and activities in the international market.
The fair will be open until February 23 inclusive.
