Today, traditional National Tennis Tournament devoted to the State Flag Day of Turkmenistan has completed on the tennis courts of multifunctional stadium “Ashgabat”. Over 130 athletes from the capital and regions of the country contended for the title of the strongest among boys and girls in two age groups – under 14 years old and elder.

In the youngest age group, B. Nurberdiyev and D. Bezrutchenko took first place. In the elder age group, as it was expected, the first numbers of the national team of Turkmenistan – students of the International Turkmen-Turkish University A. Ernepesov and A. Prenko had luck. No one was equal to them both in single and pair grades.

This tournament became one of the stages of preparation of the Turkmen tennis players for Davis Cup.
