International Investment Forum of Turkmenistan has completed in Istanbul. Forum was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan jointly with the Union of Exchanges and Commercial Chambers of Republic of Turkey, Committee for foreign-economic ties of Republic of Turkey as well as Turkmen-Turkish Business Council.
The officials of leading ministries and sectoral departments of Turkmenistan and Turkey, representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan took part in the work of the forum. About 700 persons from nearly 40 world countries have gathered in Istanbul for participation in this representative meeting. In total, nearly 400 companies and about 20 international organizations were represented at the forum. There also were the leading experts-analysts, scientists from various countries.
In the course of the second day of the forum, the state strategy of development of oil, gas and chemical complexes of Turkmenistan was presented for its participants. One of the plenary sessions was devoted to the investment potential of tourism sphere.
Within the framework of Investment Forum, it was held bilateral meetings of members of Turkmenistan’s delegation with the representatives of the largest foreign companies. In the course of them, it was held a view exchange on prospects of expansion of mutually beneficial partnership. To the opinion of the forum participants, this meeting will contribute to the increase of inflow of investments in national economy.
