The issues of enhancing efficient cooperation were discussed during the meetings with the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development that arrived in Ashgabat led by EBRD Director for Central Asia Mr. Masara Honma.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, representatives of the leading European Bank were briefed on the key areas of the foreign-policy course of the country. The meeting participants exchanged their views regarding cooperation between Turkmenistan and EBRD in the banking, transport and non-governmental sectors of the national economy. A number of issues were also discussed during the meetings at the Government of Turkmenistan, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the visit, Mr. Masara Honma and members of the delegation will be received at the State Service of Sea and River Transport of Turkmenistan.
