String with cargo of humanitarian aid departed to the Afghan border from Anev – administrative center of Akhal province. This humanitarian aid is for inmates of children’s homes and pupils of the schools of Afghanistan and includes the children’s sportswear, confectionary products, academic books and accessories.

This humanitarian action was initiated by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in honor of the International Novruz Holiday.

As Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Turkmenistan Mohammad Fazel Saifi noted in his speech at the solemn ceremony, the current act of good will became another obvious example of unfading traditions of friendship and neighborliness.
