Two-day International Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2013” completed its work in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Members of the Turkmen delegation specially arrived here as well as over 200 officials, scientists and experts of more than 100 leading oil and gas companies from over 300 world countries took part in this forum.
In the second day of the conference, its participants continued the discussion of wide range of issues of investment of projects on development of oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan.
As a whole, within the framework of the conference, it was noted the increasing role of Turkmenistan on global energy market of the world and particularly in the Asian region. Participants of the forum underlined important international significance of existing gas pipelines to Chine, Iran, Russia for development of the region as well as urgency of construction of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India pipeline and prospective Trans-Caspian energy bridge.
Within the framework of the conference, it was also held numerous meetings between representatives of fuel-energy complex of Turkmenistan and famous foreign companies from the United Arab Emirates, United States of America, China, France, Japan, Malaysia, Republic of Korea and a series of other countries. In the course of the negotiations, it was discussed the possibilities of realization of joint projects in the context of mutually beneficial cooperation on priority trends of development of oil and gas sector of our country.
