The international conference "Diplomacy of the Great Silk Road: from History to Future" started its work at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Conference participants noted that the revival of the Great Silk Road required concerted efforts, close collaboration on a wide range of political, economic and humanitarian issues and counteraction to threats and challenges of modern time.
Four conference sections cover such themes as the role of diplomacy in cooperation, security and sustainable development of the region of the Great Silk Road, the revival of the Great Silk Road in modern conditions, the Great Silk Road and trade and economic relations, the Great Silk Road and mutual enrichment of cultures and civilizations in Eurasia.
These vectors of priority research activities and areas of mutually beneficial cooperation between scientists worldwide will be discussed on the final day of the international conference "Diplomacy of the Great Silk Road: from History to Future".
